(UNEDITED) The Republican Party needs to be thanked for all the things they have done for the low and middle class of this country and this state. The Republicans have, for the past eight years managed to repeal all the rules and regulations that were put into place to protect the people of the United States from predatory practices by Big Business.
The Republicans have profited greatly from their endeavors in this area and that, coupled with all the do-nothings in the past eight years produced the greatest recession since 1983. We, the low and middle class thank the Republicans, too, for fighting to stop the Healthcare Reform that would make it easier for 36 million low and middle class citizens to get healthcare that would make life better, but would cost the healthcare insurance companies and the pharmaceutical manufacturers to have their profits reduced from multi-million dollars to a few million dollars each year.
There are a few Democrats who can be added to the mix of the do-nothings. The economy is at a low point, thanks to the efforts of the Republicans, who wanted to line their pockets with hundreds of dollars from the rich upper class who they really represent, coupled with the reduced taxes on those well-to-do, but poor upper class people who will benefit from this recession in the end. It is hoped that the Republicans and the "Blue-dog" Democrats have happy lives in the future.
