Thank you to the writer if the Nov. 5 letter, "Daylight savings time should be ended."
The plan was put into action in 1916 in Germany as a way to conserve coal. It was adopted in the united States in 1918. However, it was repealed in the United States in 1919. It was renewed in this country in 1941 and ended in 1945. It was known then as "war time."
It is a state decision. We lived in Arizona for 27 years and it was a pleasure to not have this time change every six months. There are many of us who are interested in ending this dinosaur. Le't unite our 50 states in this. We must accept and acknowledge the laws of nature as they were given to us.
