In its new report "Stand and Deliver," the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), is demanding that government, religious institutions and society at large provide "comprehensive sexuality education," for children as young as ten years old. The group argues this must be mandatory in school, and governments must also ensure that this education is delivered to those young people who are out of school.
Possibly many saw the report on CBS recently of many young people with posters demanding our state legislators pass a bill on sex education. Personally, I would never listen to Planned Parenthood (PP) regarding to my children's sex education, as they are the largest abortion provider, condom and pill distributor in our country. PP does not support chastity but rather "safe sex." We know the statistics of "safe sex," i.e. STDs, abortions, rape and I could go on and on, but all are on the rise since the 1970s. Our school-age children generally do not make "adult decisions" regarding sex.
Abortions kill our children, millions since we legalized it 37 years ago and it has become a form of contraception, a deadly act not just for the children, but the mothers as well. The Wall Street Journal on Feb. 1, 1994, dubbed PP as "abortion central."
Some types of pills kill babies and because of the abortifacient effects; these may have fatal effects on women as they affect the immune system. How many women 40-50 are dying prematurely? Too often it is because of previous abortions and the effects of the pill.
Per PP's own annual report, it pulls in more than $810 million a year from its abortion and contraception business. Just since 1987, the total is $8.35 million. It's a lucrative business, I dare say. Multiply 227,375 abortions it does every year by the average price of an abortion, $400; it's $91 million per year. Our taxpayer money gives it $254 million a year!
Let us not destroy our families! We, not PP, schools or government must teach our children to respect themselves, be strong and save themselves for marriage.
