Taxes for tuition go to illegals

(UNEDITED) Open border proponents saying Utahns are "conflicted" about giving the additional perk of taxpayer funded higher education to illegal aliens ignore every poll finding that Americans want our laws enforced and illegal alien lawbreakers returned home. HISPANIC MAGAZINE polled readers to learn they want LESS, not more immigration.

In 2007 FAIR estimated Utah has 125,000 illegal aliens costing taxpayer $244 Million for only education, emergency medical, and incarcerations. This does not include infrastructure, AFDC, WIC, charities, etc, etc. In the year ending last September Department of Workforce Services reports Utah lost 51,500 jobs; 85,000 in the last two years according to recent TV News.

Our legislature grapples with the budget shortfall of millions of dollars these lost jobs did not contribute in taxes. Yet we have 590 illegal alien students getting taxpayer funded educations at our public universities. More than half the costs of our colleges and universities are paid by taxpayers. Illegal alien students are not legally able to use their stolen educations as they are not in this country legally. Taxpaying citizens from other states are forced to pay extra "out of state tuition". Out of state American students attending California public colleges and universities sued California for the same procedure and won.

Giving in state tuition privledges to illegal aliens is both immoral and stupid. Immoral to reward criminal behavior, and waste tax money, and stupid to promote yet another perk to encourage illegal aliens who can't legally use these educations anyway.

Remove this carrot to illegal aliens.
