Move troops from Japan, Korea to our own borders

(UNEDITED)Under the present Administration, the US of A is in really sad shape! Consequently spending is out of hand, Presidential planned changes are out of step with voters desires, economy is going sideways. However all this could be improved with a little common sense!

Why do we have tens of thousands of military personnel in Japan and Korea when their economies are better than ours? Both have a ready military suitable for their needs. If a need for US military assistance, according to our treaties with them, arises, we could be there in a matter of hours. The same applies to England and Germany. Both countries can carry their own weight in normal circumstances.

I suggest we bring those military personnel back to the US and rotate them from Bases in the States to our Southern and Northern borders as needed to secure them from illegal people and contraband that contaminates our fair nation.

Thus tax money that is spent overseas and enhancing foreign economies would be spent to lift our own economy, revitalizing it and in the long run would fiscally more sensible than shipping zillions of dollars over seas for the benefit or other nations.
