Radiation from space may have shut off Toyota

(UNEDITED)I own a 1996 Toyota 4-Runner. One day when my wife and I were traveling in Northern Utah, we had our Toyota shut completely down. Everything shut off and we rolled to a complete stop. I really do wonder if radiation from space could have caused this malfunction as stated in the article by Justin Hyde in the Standard Examiner dated March 17, 2010. Instead of runaway Toyota's what about drop dead Toyota's...
