(UNEDITED)In reference to your letter, ("Island hunt still drawing fire," June 15).
Why is it, we have three (3), state agencies that all seem to be involved in the issue of Antelope Island hunting? Now let's see, we have the Division of Natural Resources (DNR), The Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR), and then finally and possibly the state Parks and Recreation Board.
It appears to me, after reading this article, that the state could save Mega Bucks by combining the responsibilities of these agencies. I believe the money saved could eliminate the requirement for an island hunt.
Let's kill off some bureaucratic pork not the Buffs and Bighorn.
