When the announcement was made that Gordon Hayward was the selection that the Utah Jazz made in the recent draft, a chorus of "boos" came forth from some "experts" that follow the Jazz. Shame on those people!
This boy earned the right to be selected in the top ten. He has accomplished a level of play and basketball talent that the "booers" seem to not understand. Have any of them developed a basketball skill comparable to his talent?
When opening their mouths and making disagreeable noises becomes a talent, then the people who booed may be selected.
I'm with Gordon. I hope they don't beef him up so much that they hamper his ability to move and glide. Basketball is a game of movement and skill. Three-hundred-pound hit-men do not make the game better.
I hope Salt Lake City gives Gordon the respect and chance he deserves, and I hope the booers get a migraine.
