(UNEDIED)So today my 7 year old son sat outside in the heat on the sidelines while his team played, he played 1 play... the entire 4 quarters and in overtime.. (1) Why is this? because he is small and not so good yet..and he has 5 coaches that all have sons on the team that are older and know more about football. Today im very ashamed to be a supporter of the Ogden Tigers. I had to bring my 7 year old home and explain to him why he did'nt get his 10 plays. Because to some people winning is more important then learning to work together as a team. and more important then a little boys feelings.
For 7 years i've been a team mom for the Tigers, volunteered, done fund raisers. Ran the snack shack before and after my kids games.
I never missed a single game. and very rarely did I ever miss a practice. I bought treats and oranges and drinks when other moms couldn't afford them week after week to support the team. Also got a $700.00 donation for jersey's.
It's sad to see what the organization has come down to, What you know and who you know. Not fairness or equality. Or working together as a team.
