(UNEDITED)In a line derived from a comment by St. Thomas Aquinas, someone said, "Beware of the one-book man." The Rev. Terry Jones, an alleged Christian who wants to burn the Koran, is not even a half-book man. He's memorized some of the Bible but not one of the most important lines--"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Book burners have always been enemies of liberty, and now Rev. Jones is going to commit an act that will put the lives of innocent American tourists and soldiers in jeopardy. I think "treason" is the word used when you deliberately commit an act that harms an American soldier in the time of war.
Congratulations Glen Beck and Fox News, you've stirred up the hate cauldron until Rev. Jones crawled out with the wicked, boneheaded, anti-freedom-of- religion idea of burning the Koran. Just when you think the Obama-is-a-Muslim crowd could not sink any deeper into the swamp of bigotry, you get this disgraceful surprise.
