Wild Wednesdays: Today at 3:30 p.m. Free for ONC members, $2 children/$3 seniors/$4 adults. Today's topic is "Who's a Buteo?" Meet Sampson, our Red-tailed Hawk. Learn what separates hawks from other types of birds, then take a short hike with a teacher/naturalist to look for signs of hawks at the Ogden Nature Center.
For the Birds: An outdoor exhibit of handcrafted and whimsical birdhouses and birdfeeders. The exhibit runs through Aug. 31 and is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Members get in free.
WEBER PATHWAYS
Student Hike: Weber Pathways is seeking volunteers to help lead students from Polk Elementary on various Ogden-area hikes next Monday, May 24. Start times range from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. To volunteer, sign up online at http://sites.google.com/a/weberpathways.org/polkhikes/.

8-Week Get-In-Shape Hiking: Begins 6 p.m. today at Ogden River Parkway. The hikes will begin at the easy level and progress to moderately strenuous. These hikes are for anyone wanting to get in shape, enjoy the awesome mountains, or become part of a great support group. This group is limited to 15 hikers, so please call ahead to reserve a spot. Call Lynn at (801) 388-4864 to reserve a spot or for more information.
Llama Hikes: 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Middle Fork to Browns Hole, approximately 16 miles round trip (difficult). Bring lunch. Help condition llamas for backpacking. We will take one to five llamas on a hike depending on how they feel. Typically the llamas are daisy-chained and led together; but if your are interested, you can try leading one for yourself. Dogs are not allowed.
OGDEN SIERRA CLUB
Ogden Overlook Hike: Saturday. Five- to six-mile round trip with a slight elevation gain, starting at Snowbasin. Well maintained trail with great views of surrounding areas. Call John for meeting time and place (801) 985-6854.

Bird Walks: 7:30 a.m. today at Willard Bay. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at McDonald's (1838 W. 2700 North, Farr West) for breakfast or at 8 a.m. to carpool.

Field Trip: 8 a.m. Saturday at Rock Cliff Nature Center. Meet at 8 a.m. at the DWR Office (515 E .5500 S., Ogden). Bring a lunch. We will be helping Kathy Donnell, park naturalist, put together a bird check list.
