Biggest sports thrill: "My sophomore year getting the school record in the 100 meters (12.29)."
Best advice I've ever received: "My freshman year at state, coach (Corbin) Talley said, 'Run like a big, hungry bear is chasing you.' "
Last week: Harrison earned athlete of the meet honors at the Davis Super Meet by sweeping the 110 hurdles (15.47), the 100 meters (12.57), the 200 meters (26.00) and the 4x100 relay (49.75).
Harrison on her performance: "I was very happy (with the meet) because my coach was getting me all worked up and scared about the other schools. My goal by the end of my senior year is to get my 100 under 12 seconds and to get the school record in the 200 this year."
Coach Jamie West on Harrison: "She is probably one of the most naturally talented kids that I've ever seen. She also works really hard. She also stays pretty relaxed, but she is ready to compete once she gets in the blocks."
After high school: "I'm wanting to keep on running out of state and become a massage therapist or do something in sports medicine. I'm hoping to go to (the University of) Oregon."
