Public show of respect for 'Mr. Weber High'

PLEASANT VIEW -- Earl H. Heninger, also known as "Mr. Weber High," died this week, and on Thursday, former students painted the school's logo on Washington Boulevard.

Principal reports 'possible sex crime' after 2 students kiss

NAPLES, Fla. -- The assistant principal of an elementary school here called in the sheriff to report a "possible sex crime" after two students shared a kiss.

Kaysville principal receives national recognition

KAYSVILLE — Kathleen Bagley is doing what she loves, and her recent national recognition shows that she shines in the field.

Bagley, who is in her fifth year as principal at Snow Horse Elementary School in Kaysville, has been honored as one of 61 principals nationwide to receive the 2011 national distinguished principal award. She returned from the award ceremony in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 21.

“You are in amazing company (at the award ceremony),” she said. “I felt very humbled. Every elementary school principal works really hard. We all do what we can to help kids achieve.”

OGDEN -- Ogden School District Brad C. Smith on Monday sent out a memo outlining the immediate reassignment of three principals, three assistant principals, a coordinator and an instructional coach.
