BMX track opening delayed to May 20

FARMINGTON — The recent wet weather and flooding in Farmington has delayed the opening of the Legacy Raceway BMX Track until May 20.

The track, being built at 151 S. 1100 West in west Farmington, will be Northern Utah’s newest American Bicycle Association Bicycle Motocross track.

Practice sessions on the track will be made available for cyclists as soon as the track is completed, which is expected to be May 18, said Aimee Edwards, Legacy Raceway BMX Track spokeswoman.

The 200-foot-by-400-foot track will be open through Sept. 30, Edwards said.
