Toyota recalling 1.53 million cars globally

 

TOKYO -- Toyota is recalling 1.53 million Lexus, Avalon and other models, mostly in the U.S. and Japan, for brake fluid and fuel pump problems, the latest in a string of quality lapses for the world's No. 1 automaker.

SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Department of Agriculture and Food (UDAF) food safety inspectors have contacted egg distributors in the state and have found no evidence that any of the tainted eggs associated with the Wright County Egg recall are in Utah. We believe it is highly unlikely any of the eggs are in the state.
