* Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 7 p.m., Canyon Road AG, 390 Canyon Road (one block east of 12th & Harrison). Special music, testimonies and scripture reading. The public is welcome to join us as we take time to focus on the real meaning of Christmas.

* "Christmas in Bethlehem," one-hour service at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Christian Life Center Church, 2352 E. Highway 193, Layton. (801) 771-5433. Featuring music and live animals in the manger scene, including camels, donkeys, sheep and goats. Seating limited to 1,000 seats per service so bring your family and celebrate the birth of Christ with us this Christmas Eve.

* Christmas Eve Service for Ogden Japanese Christian Church, 7 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church (28th Street and Quincy), Ogden. Designed for families, features music of CrossWise and the children's choirs Joyful Noise, Rainbow Bells, and Silver Chimes, with a children's story for the service. At 9 p.m., traditional service of lessons, carols and candlelight will be celebrated. The Golden Bells (adult bell choir) will play in the courtyard between services.

* Christmas Eve Mass at 10 p.m.,and Christmas Day at 10 a.m., St. Henry's Catholic Church, 380 S. 200 East, Brigham City.

* Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, 6 p.m., and Communion Service, 9 p.m., St. Paul Lutheran Church, 3329 Harrison Blvd, Ogden. Visitors welcome. Call the church, (801) 392-6368, for information.

* Christmas Eve Service, 6-7 p.m., Rocky Mountain Bible Church, first floor of Perry Professional Center, south of the Heritage Theater, 2535 S. Highway 89 in Perry. The service will feature special Christmas music and congregational singing of favorite Christmas carols chosen by the people present. Pastor Rob Brannon, founding pastor of RMBC, will bring a special Christmas message. Everyone is welcome to attend this Christmas Eve celebration of the birth of Christ.
