Saturday, Aug. 21

* Yard sale, bake sale, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Rocky Mountain Bible Church in the parking lot of the church, 659 N. Main in Brigham City. The proceeds of the sale will be used for building improvements.

* New Hope Assembly of God,753 W. Lake in west Ogden will host a Kids Day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with fun activities for all ages. Boat races for various age groups will start at 10 a.m. with registration at 9:30 a.m. Activities are planned throughout the day with prizes being given for participants in the boat races. Sunday, Aug. 22

*Pastor DanaLee Simon of Elim Lutheran Church, 575 - 23rd St., Ogden, will lead the second Faith Hike of 2010 after the 10 a.m. worship service. This hike will be in Wheeler Canyon, beginning at the Art Nord Trailhead. Wheeler Canyon is a gradual climb and a beautiful hike. Faith Hikes begin and end with prayer and devotions from the Bible. Hikers should bring a lunch to eat on the trail, a hat, sunscreen, water, and any personal equipment they would like to take. Mary Givens of Elim will accompany the hike on her horse Emma and will lead any trail riders who wish to join the Faith Hike. Anyone who would like to go on the Faith Hike is invited to join the congregation for worship at 10 a.m., meet on the church parking lot to carpool at 11:30 a.m., or join the Faith Hikers at the Art Nord Trailhead at 12:15. COMING UP
