He and his wife will teach at the West African Advanced School of Theology and minister to the Tuaregs, a nomadic people of the Sahara desert. * 5th Annual Funds of Love event at Mount Benedict Monastery, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22. The fundraising event benefits St. Benedict's Foundation and the ministry of the sisters of St. Benedict. This year's event, "Harvest of Plenty," will feature a complete Dutch-oven outdoor dinner, a holiday boutique, a silent auction, raffle and live music, featuring the local western band Stampede.
