Elim offers adult ed and soup suppers

OGDEN — Pastor DanaLee Simon, of Elim Lutheran Church, 575 23rd St., Ogden, will teach adult education at 9 a.m. Sundays, using a book titled “From Sacrifice to Celebration: A Lenten Journey.”

The texts and chapters are:

• March 13, Luke 4:1-13, Beyond the Boredom Syndrome.

• March 20, John 3:1-17, An Invitation to Discovery.

• March 27, John 4:5-26, Unexpected Grace for Unsuspecting People.

• April 3, John 9:1-25, To See With the Eyes of Your Soul.

• April 10, Luke 15:1-3, 11-32, A Bash for an Adventure Gone Bust.

• April 17, Mark 15:1-25, Christ’s Cross My Challenge.

The public is invited and should bring their Bibles.

At 6 p.m., Wednesdays at 6 p.m., Pastor Simon will use a resource titled “Journey of Stones.” A soup supper will be served. Worship is at 7 p.m.
