MIDWAY -- Women and young women ages 13 and older are invited to attend a September retreat sponsored by the Intermountain General Baptist Convention Inc., Women's Auxiliary.
"Christian Women Living Victoriously" will be based on the Bible's Old Testament Psalm 20.
The focus of the conference will be women and young women stepping away to spend quality time with God.
Registration for the event is due by Aug. 31. The retreat will run Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at the Homestead Resort, 700 N. Homestead Drive in Midway.
Cost is $150. The fee includes retreat materials, dinner, breakfast and one night's lodging.
"This year's retreat will feature various workshop sessions and activities designed to better equip us to understand who God has purposed us to be, the authority we possess as committed women of God and the numerous opportunities to fellowship, pray and experience the powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit," members of the New Zion Baptist Church wrote in a letter to area congregations about the retreat.
