OGDEN -- The Stephen Ministers of Elim Lutheran Church, 575 23rd St., will conduct a full service of healing at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Pastor DanaLee Simon said the service is open to any person of any denomination who feels the need for physical, emotional or spiritual healing. The service will focus on prayers of healing, laying on of hands and anointing with the sign of the cross.
Stephen Ministers will lead the service along with Simon, but everyone will be invited to take part in the laying on of hands.
Musicians Rick and Mary Givens will provide special music during the healing rites.
Elim's Stephen Ministers held a brief healing service after worship on May 22, with its largest turnout ever. The July 10 service will the congregation's fourth full healing service, with the entire worship service focused on healing.
