Despite tragedy, Reno air races reopen for business

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Despite the deaths of 11 people, federal investigations and lawsuits seeking millions of dollars, organizers of the Reno air races are moving ahead with plans to hold the event again in September.

Reno to hold another air race despite tragic crash

LOS ANGELES -- The Reno Air Races Association announced Wednesday that it will seek to hold another competition for high-performance craft despite last year's crash of a World War II-era vintage plane that killed 11 people.
