OGDEN -- The Front Climbing Club in Ogden is hosting this year's American Bouldering Series Regional Championship for the Southern Mountain Region. Competition began Saturday and continues today.The regional features about 250 youth competitors and their families from to Ogden to qualify for divisional and national events.

ROY -- Dallas and Devin Hammonds have been rock climbing since The Front Climbing Club opened its doors in Ogden two years ago. Now the siblings are headed to a national competition, where they hope to earn a spot to compete with others around the world.

Mural celebrates Ogden's 'Breaking Through' in outdoor recreation

Sherry Ferrin works on painting a mural with her grandchildren on the side of a parking structure at 23rd Street and Washington Boulevard in Ogden on Thursday. The vinyl painting celebrates the changes the city has made, including its attraction of top sporting activities. Two climbers are rescued from what is known as London Spire near Ben Lomond Peak. Weber County Search and Rescue airlifted them to safety.
