CENTERVILLE — Utah Highway Patrol and Centerville police spent most of Thursday investigating how a new fire tender engine rolled 50 feet down a hill into a creek, injuring three firefighters, during a training exercise Wednesday night.
Farmington fire Capt. Rick Wesche, Capt. Jed Done and firefighter/paramedic Jay Burnam were injured. Wesche and Done were transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, and Burnam was taken to Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful.
Done suffered head injuries in the accident, a hospital spokeswoman said.
