BLM will use bait to trap wild horses

RENO, Nev. — Federal land managers are stepping up their use of an alternative method to remove “excess” wild horses from the range in Nevada and other western states.

BLM plans to roundup 1,700 mustangs in east Nevada

ELY, Nev. -- The Bureau of Land Management plans to round up more than 1,700 wild horses in eastern Nevada this summer during a series of gathers in Elko and White Pine counties.
