Roy Days wraps up with festivities at the park

ROY -- Thousands of Roy residents spent Saturday celebrating the city's heritage as the community capped off its weeklong annual celebration with a parade, carnival, vendor booths, a car show and, of course, fireworks.

Roy Days Flapjack Breakfast will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hope Community Center, 5051 S. 1900 West. The menu is pancakes, sausage, ham, Dutch-oven hash browns, juice, milk and coffee. It’s free for ages 3 and under, $3 for age 3 to 8 and $5 for all others. A family pass for up to 6 people is $20. ROY -- The Roy Days Parade Committee is still accepting applications for entries in the parade, which will be held at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 6.
