Laps for Lyndsay will be held from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Oct. 1 at Weber State University’s Stewart Stadium.
The one-mile fun walk will help raise funds for the National Ability Center in Park City, which offers individuals with epilepsy opportunities to participate in recreation activities such as archery, cycling, horseback riding, rock climbing and snow and waterskiing.
The event is held in memory of 7-year-old Lyndsay Lynch, who lost her battle with epilepsy in August 2010. Her parents, Charles and Mandy Lynch, of West Haven along with her big brother, Dugan, want to carry on Lyndsay’s legacy of fighting for the innocent. To register, go to active.com. The cost is $20.
