Distracted Driving Demo, March 15, 2010



Syracuse High School received a federal grant to stage a mock car accident with emergency personnel at the school to educate students about the dangers of distracted driving, specifically texting while driving and drinking and driving Monday. Reggie Shaw, who killed two men in a head on collision while texting and driving in Logan in 2006, spoke to the high school kids after the demonstration, asking them to make wise choices behind the wheel.
