OREM, Utah -- Utah County will host its third annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day at Utah Valley University on April 10.

Utah County residents are encouraged to bring items like antifreeze, glues, adhesives, pesticides, fluorescent light bulbs and smoke detectors.

This is also the first year the county will be collecting old prescription medications.
