Sarah Palin even misquotes herself

"I stand by everything I wrote in that warning to my fellow Americans" - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, R, in a Facebook post titled " ’Death Panel’ Three Years Later"

On the eve of the historic Supreme Court ruling on President Barack Obama’s health-care law, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee posted a note on Facebook saying she was right about accusing the Obama administration of instituting "death panels" after all. Quoting from her original post, she wrote:

NBC's "Today" show is bringing Sarah Palin, left, on board as a co-host _ for one morning, this Tuesday. The announcement was posted Sunday on NBC's website. It says the former Alaska governor and GOP vice presidential candidate will "reveal a different side" than viewers have seen before. The booking is clearly an attempt to blunt the impact of "Today" alumna Katie Couric's weeklong return to morning TV as a guest host on ABC's "Good Morning America." (AP Photo)

Palin, Bachmann go from Tea Party allies to testy rivals

WASHINGTON -- Just over a year ago, Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin stood happily together on a stage in Minneapolis exhorting their Tea Party followers and trading "you betchas."

This week, their relationship changed. Bachmann's new strategist, Ed Rollins, harshly criticized Palin, describing her as "not serious," and what was once a natural alliance has turned into a potential rivalry.

The collision may have been inevitable. Bachmann and Palin appeal to the same stripe of the electorate and are strikingly similar in style and ideology.

Palin says she's still thinking about 2012 run

WOODBURY, N.Y. -- Sarah Palin says she is still thinking about running for president in 2012, but has not made up her mind.

Arizona town buzzing over Palin's purchase

MARICOPA, Ariz.-- No one here really knows why she bought a five-bedroom house in a sprawling subdivision, or if she even intends to live in it. But, already, Bristol Palin's real estate acquisition has residents in one hard-hit desert neighborhood chatting about their hopes for a housing marking rebound.

To the surprise of many in this sleepy Phoenix suburb, the 20-year-old daughter of Sarah Palin who recently created her own celebrity as a "Dancing with the Stars" finalist, purchased a two-story home in a development of earth-toned houses on the edge of town.

And she got a good deal, too.

The two-story, 3,900-square-foot home in Maricopa's Cobblestone Farm neighborhood was priced well over $300,000 when it was built in 2005. Palin paid $172,000 cash for the house late last month, according to Pinal County property records and information published on the region's multiple listing service.
