Ogden High School Class of ’44 to hold reunion

The Ogden High School Class of 1944 will hold its 67th anniversary class reunion at 2 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Golden Corral restaurant, 988 Washington Blvd., Ogden. The class will celebrate its $1,800 donation to the school renovation project.

Each person attending is responsible for their own meal. There will be no contact by mail, so class members are asked to call Jack Woods at 801-621-7840 or any other member of the reunion committee by Sept. 1 to confirm attendance.

The Bonneville High School Class of 1981 is holding its 30th reunion July 30 from 5:30 to 10 p.m.

The reunion will be held at the school, 251 E. Laker Way. Cost is $30 per person or $60 per couple and includes a Texas barbecue and music.

NORTH OGDEN -- City council members believed raising rental rates for the North View Senior Center would be lucrative for the city, but they were wrong. Since the city raised its rates last year to $300 for residents and $500 for nonresidents, the building has sat virtually empty on rental availability nights.
