Missing Idaho plane found; 5 dead

BOISE, Idaho -- The wreckage of a small plane carrying five people, including a Silicon Valley executive, was found Friday after the aircraft vanished Dec. 1 in the central Idaho mountains, the Valley County sheriff's office and the pilot's wife said. There were no survivors.

BOISE, Idaho - Teams on the ground and in aircraft hunted for a fifth day for a private plane that disappeared Sunday in the mountains of central Idaho, enlisting a radar analysis team to narrow their search as they race against time and frigid temperatures in hopes of finding survivors.

Harry Houdini would be proud.A 35-year-old man handcuffed and left in the back of a police cruiser Saturday somehow managed to slip his cuffs, squeeze through a small opening in a partition and disappear by stealing the car -- leading officers on a chase by vehicle and foot that resulted in his capture hours later.
