CLINTON -- Police were surprised to have the 78-year-old man whom they were searching for delivered to his home this afternoon.
The wife of Levi Rease reported him missing shortly after 1:30 p.m. today, said Clinton Police Chief Bill Chilson.
Chilson said Rease, who has one lung and needs medication, has Alzheimers disease and was last seen going south on 2000 West in Clinton. Somehow, Rease ended up in western Weber County and stopped at a random house.
"He knew his address, so he asked if someone could take him home," Chilson said.
Chilson did not know who dropped Rease off at his home, where police had set up a command post, because they left before anyone could talk with them.
