Elizabeth (Betty) Ure Camper Beeson died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, in Layton, Utah. Friends may visit family from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Interment will be at Clearfield City Cemetery. GARLAND -- The Bears keep on growling.

Josie Payne scored two goals to lead Region 11 runner-up Bear River to a 4-2 victory over Desert Hills in the opening round of the state 3-A girls soccer tournament on Wednesday afternoon at Bear River Middle School.
