KEARNS -- Shani Davis won his first World Cup gold medal of the season on Saturday while Canada's Christine Nesbitt stayed perfect in the 1,000 meters.
Davis claimed the men's 1,000 at the World Cup long track event at the Utah Olympic Oval in 1 minute, 7.20 seconds.
Canada's Denny Morrison was second (1:07.39) and Stefan Groothuis of The Netherlands was third (1:07.45).
