OGDEN -- Together again for one last dance, the Wildcats five seniors exited stage left with nothing but smiles.

Seniors Chelsea Bair, Jenna Leggat, Caitlyn Anderson, Jocilyn Taylor and Amy Fackrell took one last twirl around the court at Swenson Gym on Saturday night, ending their careers with the Weber State University women's volleyball team with a 26-24, 19-25, 29-27, 25-19 victory over Montana State.

COLLEGE VOLLEYBALL

The Wildcats seniors leave as one of winningest senior classes in Weber State history, with the quintet leaving a lasting mark on the schools record books.

"This match was awesome; I'm so proud of the way we played, especially in the third set," Bair said. "We just kept pushing. We made the decision that we weren't going to lose this last one."

Bair finishes her career in second place on the schools career kills and digs all-time lists. Anderson leaves as Weber State's career leader in digs. Fackrell and Leggat appeared in more than 100 career matches for the Purple and White. Taylor, who joined the Wildcats following two years at Snow College, played in 63 matches and finished just outside the career top ten in assists.

Weber State took the early match lead, rallying from a 24-23 deficit to win 26-24 for the 1-0 lead.

Montana State leveled the match at 1-1, and appeared to be seizing the momentum after building a 20-10 lead in the third set. The Wildcats, however, staged a jaw-dropping rally to claim the 29-27 win, led by 10 kills and five digs by Bair in the set.

Weber State led wire-to-wire in the fourth, cruising to the win.

Bair finished the match with 22 kills and 12 digs, Anderson had 14 kills and 21 digs, Leggat had 11 digs, Randall had 43 assists and Fackrell finished with nine kills.

Leaders for SLCC were outside hitter Shelbi Zaldain with 12 kills and three service aces, sophomore LaKell Havens with 11 kills along with Ame White's 10 kills. SLCC finished the season with a 29-9 record, the Region 18 Championship and a top four finish at the NJCAA tournament.
