LA MIRADA, Calif. -- The 2010 season came to an end with a thud for the Outlaws.
Surrendering three second-half goals, Ogden let a 2-1 lead slip away and fell 4-2 to the Southern California Seahorses late Saturday night at Biola University.
The Outlaws finished their campaign at 2-11-3, being outscored 20-7 on a season-ending five-match winless streak after stunning division champion Ventura County on July 8.
Southern California scored first on Saturday, but Ogden quickly equalized on a score from Triston Sommerville.
Sommerville scored again to give the Outlaws a 2-1 lead early in the second half and made it stand up until the 75th minute when the Seahorses equalized.
Southern California tallied the final two goals of the match in stoppage time to claim the victory.
On Friday night, Ogden faced off with Hollywood United in Pacific Palisades, Calif., and fell 4-1 to the Hitmen. Ogden trailed just 1-0 at halftime, but Hollywood quickly scored in the second half of that match to make it 2-0.
Andy Cornia scored for Ogden to make it 2-1, with the Hitmen tallying the final two goals.
Ventura County, the defending PDL champion, captured the league's Southwest Division title, with Hollywood staking out the second divisional playoff berth. Portland, which went 16-0-0 in the Northwest Division, will host the four-team conference playoff next weekend.
