Javier Morales wants to help your child get in shape.
Recently, all of Major League Soccer's 16 clubs joined the Pepsi Refresh Project, a community project competition. Each club came up with an idea -- Morales' partnership with local schools to champion programs in the fight against childhood obesity is RSL's -- and now fans can voted to see which will get the $50,000 Pepsi Refresh grant to fulfill the project.
Morales, the two-time MLS All-Star, will lend his support and message to area youths at elementary school health-and-fitness assemblies. A listing of schools and appearance dates will be updated on www.RealSaltLake.com soon.
Fans can vote at www.MLSsoccer.com/PepsiRefresh.

Tunis will be missed
We note the passing of sports broadcaster Chris Tunis early this week.
Tunis died at age 54 after a battle with cancer.
Most will remember Tunis patrolling the sidelines covering BYU sports in the 1980s, helped kick-start sports talk radion in the state in the 1990s, and broadcast Utah State games for a few years before taking over Utah women's basketball broadcasts for the past few years.
For many Utah sports journalists, Tunis was a friendly face from the first time we joined the fraternity. The seven-time Utah broadcaster of the year was truly one of kind.
