LOGAN -- Utah State is ranked 22nd in the latest Associated Press men's basketball poll after an 89-84 double-overtime victory at Hawaii on Saturday night.
BYU moved to No. 8 in the poll after beating San Diego State and losing to New Mexico.
The Aggies' 15-game winning streak is the third-longest active winning streak in the nation behind Ohio State (22) and Coastal Carolina (18) and fifth-longest in school history.
Senior guard Brian Green on Monday earned Western Athletic Conference player of the week honors. He scored a career-high 25 points against San Jose State. He also hit a pair of long game-tying shots to force each overtime period against Hawaii then won it with four free throws down the stretch.
