Biggest sports thrill: "In summer league we played three games and I went 12-for-12."
Best advice I've ever received: "Always have confidence."
Last week: During a 4-0 week for the Royals, Strong went 12-for-15 at the plate, while driving in five runners and scoring eight runs himself.
Strong on his performance: "Everytime I went up there I felt like I was going to hit the ball and it was going to go in a gap. A lot of (the success) is confidence and having a different role from my junior to senior year. I came up in a lot of pressure situations and the team needed me to perform. "I think we're a good team and just need to stay consistent. Our big goal is to take region and beat Davis and Viewmont."
Coach Greg Patterson on Strong: "For a kid to go out and have a week like he did is unheard of. Definitely he's capable of doing that and he carried us to some wins. He's a team captain and we've tried to make him the leader of the infield. He has some of the quickest hands I've seen."
After high school: "I'll probably go on an (LDS Church) mission and then maybe go to school at Dixie State College." -- Chad Pritchett Standard-Examiner
