Blaze aim for first road win vs. Rattlers

The Utah Blaze come off a thrilling victory over the defending Arena Bowl XXIII champion Spokane Shock, but now prepare to face the undefeated Arizona Rattlers tonight at US Airways Arena.

The Blaze (3-2) are looking to pick up their first road victory of the season after losses at Orlando and San Jose, and coach Ron James feels the team is ready to make that step.

"We've had some tough losses on the road, but our guys are resilient and the games we have played have prepared us to take that next step and get a big road win," James said.

This season, the Blaze has been led on offense by veteran WR Aaron Boone and first year QB Tommy Grady. Last week versus Spokane, Boone broke the records for most Blaze career receiving yards and tied the records for most Blaze career touchdown receptions.

Grady, meanwhile, is currently second in the AFL in total passing yards (1,532) and was awarded with the AFL Offensive Player of the week award in Week Two.

The Rattlers come into the week ranked third in the league in passing defense.
