WASHINGTON TERRACE -- Somehow disappointing just doesn't cover it for the Outlaws.
Lining up against a team that held the worst record in the Premier Development League's Western Conference, Ogden suffered an embarrassing 3-0 setback to the Los Angeles Legends on Friday night at Bonneville High School.
"It's just disappointing," Ogden owner/coach Mike Hickman Sr. said. "We work on things over and over in practice, and then we come out and don't do those things in the game. We just didn't have any energy or enthusiasm out on the field tonight."
Ogden surrendered a 14th minute goal to Victor Hugo Carreon Raygoza and trailed 1-0 at halftime.
The second half started out even worse for the Outlaws as Victor Sanchez smashed home a rifling shot from 25 yards out in the 46th minute, with Jose Gustavo Velasquez rounding out the scoring on a counter in the fourth minute of stoppage time to make it 3-0.
L.A. improved to 1-7-1 with their first victory of the season, while Ogden dropped to 0-8-2 and will again seek its first win tonight as the Outlaws host the division leading Ventura County Fusion at 6 p.m. at Bonneville High School.
