Outlaws hit road for pair of games

PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. -- The Ogden Outlaws take to the road for the final time this season, traveling to southern California for a pair of matches.

Ogden, which is still seeking its first victory of the season, will take on the L.A. Blues 23 tonight at 8 p.m. at the Stadium by the Sea on the campus of Palisades High School.

The Outlaws are currently 0-9-3 overall this season after snapping a seven-match losing streak by drawing rival BYU 1-1 on Saturday night in Provo.

The Blues 23 bring a 3-7-2 overall mark into tonight's meeting.

On Saturday night, Ogden will travel to La Mirada, Calif., where they will face the Southern California Seahorses at 8 p.m. at Biola University.

The Seahorses are 7-3-2 and sit in fourth place in the PDL's Southwest Division. gden battled Southern California in a 2-1 loss at Bonneville High School on Jun 10.

Ogden will wrap up its 2011 season at home against BYU and L.A.

U.S. Open Cup

Real Salt Lake learned it will host at U.S. Open Cup semifinal if the Claret-and-Cobalt defeat FC Dallas next week.

First up is an MSL battle with Dallas on Saturday. If RSL wins, it would host the winner of the L.A. Galaxy/Seattle Sounders quarterfinal.

Teams bid with U.S. Soccer for the right to host playoff games.
