Dee Elementary locked down as police seek gunman

OGDEN -- Dee Elementary School is on lockdown as police deal with a gunman barricaded in a nearby home.

Teachers at the school called police at 12:50 p.m. after the man was seen on the roof of a house in the neighborhood firing a gun, dispatchers said. No injuries have been reported. The man retreated into the home when police arrived.

The Ogden Police Department SWAT team has been deployed to the house in question at 2122 Adams Ave. Children are being kept in the school at 550 22nd St. while police try to resolve the standoff.
