One of the common problems many of us face is blaming others when life doesn’t go the way we want it to. It is normal to want to blame others for not being where we want to be in our lives. It is easy to do and we can always find things that aren’t perfectly lined up for us. No one gets to where they want to be without at least a few naysayers and obstacles along the way.

Covey's 'Habits' changed many lives

Stephen R. Covey, a former Brigham Young University business professor who blended personal self-help and management theory in a massive best-seller, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People," died Monday at a hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was 79.

SALT LAKE CITY — Stephen R. Covey, author of "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" as well as three other books that have all sold more than a million copies, has died. He was 79.

PROVO -- Motivational speaker and author Stephen R. Covey is recovering in a Provo, Utah, hospital after suffering a head injury in a bicycle accident.
