Bountiful's Summerfest immerses children in different cultures

BOUNTIFUL — For Antelope Elementary School fifth-graders, all it took to be exposed to the world’s different cultures was a 30-mile bus ride south to Bountiful.

The 80 students from the year-round school in Layton were just a few of those to visit the Bountiful/Davis Summerfest International on Friday.

The free annual event, featuring 53 vendors and eight international dance groups, continues from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today, at Bountiful City Park, 400 N. 200 West.
