Police: 3 teens go to McDonald's topless, drunk

FARR WEST -- Three teenagers ran into trouble with the law after authorities said they cruised through the drive-through of a McDonald's, topless and intoxicated.

Weber County Sheriff's Capt. Klint Anderson said two males and a female arrived at the McDonald's located at 1838 W. 2700 N. just after 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

"They decided to get naked and go through the drive-through of McDonald's," Anderson said. "The three had been drinking and were obnoxious with employees. They were being verbally abusive."

A McDonald's employee called police, but the three had already left the scene by the time a deputy arrived.

A Harrisville police officer pulled over the truck near 4000 N. 2060 West. Anderson said the officer could smell alcohol when he approached the truck.

Christopher Freston, 19, was driving the vehicle.

Cheyenne Simmons, 18, was a passenger along with a 17-year-old Pleasant View resident whose name was not released because of his age.

"The officer's observation was the driver was impaired," Anderson said. "So they arrested him."

The officer also found open containers of beer in the truck.

Freston was booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of unlawful possession/consumption, having an open container and an expired driver's license. The other two passengers received citations.

Anderson said when the officer approached the truck, the three were fully dressed again.
