Musical theater class offered for kids

CLEARFIELD — It’s not too late for children to realize their star potential or at least bolster their self-confidence.

The city is hosting an introduction to musical theater class every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It runs through May, and costs $30 for residents and $35 for nonresidents for every four weeks of the course.

The class is filled with basic singing, movement and acting instruction in preparation for the final class performance in May, which will be “Pirates, the Musical.”

Children ages 6 to 12 can be part of the class, at the Clearfield Community Little Theater, 140 E. Center St.

Register online at www.reconline.org, by phone at 801-525-270, or in person at Clearfield Community Services, 55 S. State St.
