FARR WEST -- Following complaints from residents concerned about speeding vehicles on 2700 West, a traffic study was conducted by Weber County Sheriff Sgt. Lane Findlay.He observed drivers traveling north and south near 2325 North along 2700 West."I went open-minded and the first night I was shocked," Findlay said.

PLEASANT VIEW -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is not pleased with the way officers from Weber County, Box Elder County and the Utah Highway Patrol shot and killed two cows Monday night.Police put down the cows after determining the animals were holding up traffic on the freeway and were a safety hazard.

Train-truck collision causes traffic delays in North Salt Lake

(MATTHEW ARDEN HATFIELD/Standard-Examiner) A train hit a truck in North Salt Lake on Monday, tipping over the second empty trailer the truck was hauling. Only one person was injured in the crash — a refinery worker was taken to an area hospital with a compound leg fracture, officials say. The railroad tracks are marked only by a crossing sign. The investigation into the accident is continuing.
