Trooper suspended over 100-mph caravan 'escort' of high-perfromance cars

TRENTON, N.J. -- A New Jersey state trooper has been suspended after being accused of escorting a caravan of high-performance cars on a 100-mph trip down the Garden State Parkway.

SALT LAKE CITY-- A former Utah Highway Patrol Trooper of the Year has admitted she intentionally left her microphone in her patrol car during a traffic stop so superiors wouldn't know she was violating an agency policy.

Supreme Court avoids dispute over Utah highway crosses

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Supreme Court ruled Monday that it would not hear an appeal of a ruling that 12-foot-high crosses along Utah highways in honor of dead state troopers violate the Constitution.
